Surprising and exciting one of the most sought-after neighborhoods in Paris is the mission of the festival Les traverseées du Marais which will be first held in September 2015.

Picasso Museum took the decision to program three pop-rock concerts, on September 11th and 13th.

Festival “Les traverses du Marais” : Burning Peacocks and Tahiti 80.

On Friday, September 11th, the museum will welcome the young duo Burning Peacocks (electro-pop), and then, the famous group Tahiti 80 (pop-rock) on the occasion of their new album, Ballroom. While the Parisian duo sings some dreams of travel in a retro-romantic atmosphere, Tahiti 80 will make us dance to festive and swaying music.

Burning Peacocks at 7PM (1 hour)

Tahiti 80 at 8PM (1 hour)

Free admission subject to availability. Online booking recommended. Access to the garden of the museum from Rue des Coutures Saint-Gervais. Gates will open one hour prior to the start of the concert.

Festival “Les traverses du Marais” : Peter von Poehl

Following the Burning Peacocks and Tahiti 80, Peter von Poehl will end the concert series at Picasso Museum in a Scandinavian melodic tone. The artist will rewrite the rules of the traditional folk song so as to take us along an enchanting contemporary walk.
