1945. Les Actualités Françaises (a French news company) broadcast on French cinema screens in January 1945: artists of the Liberation.
Georges Braque, Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, Marcel Gimond, Henri Laurens, Le Corbusier, Auguste Perret, artists and architects united in their desire to rebuild France artistically, politically and socially in a remarkably enthusiastic and patriotic report. (Video in French)

 

 

 

1956. Première chaîne, Reflets de Cannes, 5 May 1956: Pablo Picasso at the Cannes Film Festival Le Mystère Picasso by Henri-Georges Clouzot. Documentary or work of fiction, the film aroused conflicting points of view. (Video in French)

 

 

 

1962. The TV news programme of 28 July 1962: variations of Pablo Picasso on The Luncheon on the Grass , (1863) by Edouard Manet, himself inspired by Pastoral Concert by Titian, circa. 1509 (at the time attributed to Giorgione). Daniel-Henry presents the painting exhibition at the Galerie Louise Leiris in Paris and the illustration exhibition at Galerie du Passeur, also presenting a publication that marked a milestone in Picasso’s relations with the older masters. 1963. TF1, L’art et les hommes, 4 February 1963: testamonials from the sculptor Ossip Zadkine, author André Salmon and art dealder Daniel-Henri Kahnweiler on Pablo Picasso’s Parnassianism period, collected by Jean-Marie Drot. (Video in French)
