The Musée national Picasso – Paris preserves collections that are part of the French national heritage. It has a strong educational mission and aims to make the works of art available to the largest possible audience – particularly young people and school groups.
At the museum, meeting with the collection is an essential aspect of every young scholar’s experience. Far from being imposing and austere, the guides aim to promote participation through stimulating dialogue and critical thought. We create a space for exchange and debate within the group, in order to help to expand on key notions of Picasso’s work and modern art history. Each visit is harmonized with the tune of the group so that everyone can benefit from this shared heritage and the collection of the museum.
