La Librairie - Boutique - Musée Picasso

The new shop tells the story of Picasso’s life in his studio. A studio of yesterday and of tomorrow, filled with simple and timeless objects, with a hint of avant-garde, just as Picasso liked. The raw materials (hardly polished floors, exposed beams, wooden and metal shelves where you could find paintbrushes or family portraits…) welcome beautiful objects, of different price categories. Cubist vases, stylized doves, an African mask, a mandolin and sketchbooks… Multiple adjoining rooms invite the visitor to discover one universe to another, from tableware to textile, when going through the working studio and the children’s area. This unique place also offers a very complete bibliography about Picasso’s life and work and more widely about modern and contemporary art. Artists, designers and creators will bring this concept-store to life with their talent and their exclusive creations. Furthermore, the abundant offer will change as often as Picasso’s creative mood.
